Located in Jinshuitan Town, Yunhe County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, China, this aggregate processing project was initiated by Sinohydro 12th Bureau Co., Ltd. Equipment & Blasting Company. Its Equipment and Materials Department procured a full set of aggregate processing equipment via negotiated tender, and the project is funded by internal capital.
The pumped storage power station is 20 km away from Yunhe County by road and 15 km in straight-line distance to the 220kV Yunzhong Substation, featuring convenient power connection and transmission. With a total installed capacity of 297MW (3 × 99MW units), the facility provides peak regulation, load shifting, energy storage, frequency regulation, phase regulation and emergency backup for Zhejiang power grid. It utilizes the existing Jinshuitan Reservoir as the upper reservoir and Shitang Reservoir as the lower reservoir. Major structures include water conveyance systems, semi-underground powerhouse, retaining dams and drainage tunnels.Raw materials are hard granite excavated from underground caverns. A total of 44 rock mechanics tests were conducted. The medium-to-fine grained granite has a maximum uniaxial dry compressive strength of 244.60MPa and a maximum saturated compressive strength of 231.20MPa. The average saturated uniaxial compressive strength reaches 92.35MPa for weakly weathered rock and 121.25MPa for slightly weathered rock. Classified as non-softening hard rock, it raises high requirements for crushing machinery. The produced aggregates are used for cast-in-place concrete and shotcrete across the construction site. The project requires 20,000 m³ of shotcrete, 204,000 m³ of conventional concrete and 2,000 m³ of cement stabilized macadam. An additional 10,000 m³ of concrete is supplied to auxiliary building projects. In total, around 502,000 tons of sand and crushed stone need to be processed.
This is a full turnkey project. The client requested a complete production line starting from the power outlet, together with electrical control cabinets, cables and steel support structures. All quotations cover transportation, installation, commissioning and taxes.
The production line consists of feeders, crushers, vibrating screens, sand washers, fine sand recovery units, wastewater treatment equipment and belt conveyors. We were required to submit full technical data including equipment structure, motor power, throughput and product yield.
The scope includes site layout design, equipment supply, transportation, on-site installation, spare parts, special tools and technical documents. We also deliver theoretical and practical training, equipment commissioning, system linkage testing and trial operation.A comprehensive full life-cycle service is mandatory, covering equipment trade-in, technical upgrading, renovation and operation & maintenance team training. All equipment shall be delivered to the project site within 20 days after the client issues the award notice, with the scheduled delivery date set for January 2025.The client set two key requirements for MP: the production line must run stably on hard granite and meet the designed capacity and sand output rate; the full life-cycle service package must be fully implemented to guarantee long-term operation.
To tackle hard granite, large processing volume, limited site space and strict environmental standards, MP designed a targeted aggregate processing solution for this project.Given the rock’s maximum saturated compressive strength of 231.20MPa, we adopted a four-stage crushing combination: jaw crusher + hydraulic cone crusher + vertical shaft impact crusher + double roll crusher. This multi-stage process completes coarse crushing, secondary crushing, fine crushing and material shaping, perfectly matching hard rock processing demands.Considering the total throughput of 502,000 tons, we set the raw material handling capacity at 200 t/h to reserve extra load for continuous operation. All machines are arranged in a compact layout to fit limited on-site space. The whole line is equipped with complete wastewater treatment and dust removal systems to comply with local environmental regulations.MP also provides reliable after-sales support as committed:
